When we first met Maura Prince we knew that she was a caring, kind person. It wasn't until the hours grew longer and the day got later that we realized how monumental she was in getting us through our experience. This being our first time here we weren’t quite sure how this whole thing would go, but Maura took the time to explain to us the different possible outcomes. She was incredible at comforting us when she could tell we were getting a little anxious. She would keep our mind off of things by telling stories about her family and asking about ours, and she was there to answer any questions with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Maura was one of the first people who could tell things weren’t going quite as normal as they should be and was quick to inform our doctor. As the emergency was unfolding, she was able to calmly relay to us the next steps while everything else was happening so fast, and did a great job assuring us that we were in good hands. She helped talk us through the whole procedure and worked with a calm and professional demeanor. The love and care we felt from her for us was evident from the first minute and she even stayed well past her shift to make sure we were resting well. Maura deserves every recognition she gets, and we are so glad she was there that day to walk us through our journey.
