When the opportunity arose for a clinical manager position in the PED/PICU department, Nermine’s initial thoughts didn’t gravitate toward applying as her expertise lay in the Neonatal Intensive Care setting, far removed from the world of pediatrics. But sometimes, the unexpected path leads to the most transformative growth. She had already left an indelible mark on Special Care Nursery, pushing boundaries and effecting positive change. Yet, there was more to explore, more to contribute.

Nermine’s potential was undeniable. This opportunity for her wasn’t just about overseeing processes; it was about shaping futures, healing staff, and leaving an imprint on the canvas of patient care. When Nermine stepped into her new role, it was akin to a nurse donning a pair of well-worn shoes, ready to tread uncharted territory. The path ahead was both exciting and daunting for her.
