Marj is always there to remind her how to take care of it and always explains the importance of having a full 4-hour Dialysis.
As a patient in my dialysis hospital, I see it as my second home. Apart from having my own family at home, In the Al Khor Dialysis unit, I also have a family to be called. I met Marj during my Dialysis session. Whenever she was there as my nurse, I received the most care a patient needed. And even if she was not around on my Dialysis days the very next session, she never missed checking on me and asked how my last session was.

My A/V Fistula is more important than anything and so we have to protect it at any cost. Marj is always there to remind her how to take care of it and always explains the importance of having a full 4-hour Dialysis. She always makes sure that her patient is okay and comfortable while doing the Dialysis session. She gave me a lot of advice and kind words whenever I met her, and that’s what a patient needed.

In our day-to-day life we don’t feel okay sometimes, some days we are down and depressed thinking about how we can survive this kidney failure, and to tell you honestly, when a patient receives maximum care and concern from a Nurse, we always keep it from our heart. It gives us joy and hope to live more to fight and continue smiling despite what we have. For me, she is my Extraordinary Nurse. This is my way of saying “Thank you" to her. More power "DAISY Award!" And thank you for making my nurse happy. Lots of love.
