We are honored to announce the 2nd QFY24 DAISY Award Honoree as Ms. Madison Bacon. Madison did not provide care to me, but I can see how attentive and insightful she is with her Veterans. She is a coworker of mine, and whenever we are discussing Veterans, she is quick with responses and ideas on how to help them. When thinking of interventions, she is intuitive to the Veterans' specific needs and tailoring the care to the patient. Nursing is second nature to her. She does it with such ease and comfortability that it makes you feel confident in her. She is a new nurse, but to know that she is just getting started brings me joy and pride that nurses like her are entering the workforce.
