Jennifer Humphries is special because she cares so much about her patients and staff. She goes above and beyond for her unit. When we are short staffed, she is always one of the first people to volunteer to help. Whether it be sitting on one to one boards or assisting a patient to the bathroom, she never complains. You will often see her walking the hallways checking to see if the patients and staff are ok and that they do not need anything. I even see her often sitting with patients and asking them about their day and how they are doing. When there is an emergency she always knows exactly what to do. She is also very observant and will not hesitate to notify the patient's doctors when they seem out of their norm. Jennifer has been here for 18 years and counting. She always puts others before herself and that is why she is more than deserving of recognition.
