I saw how he cared for me with a lot of love. He looked at me with those eyes that conveyed peace, making me feel really special.
Eduardo is not one of those people who works to live, but he lives for his work, he is an excellent nurse and those around him know that he transmits kindness and joy in such a difficult environment.

I went through surgery, and I was very nervous, not because of the complexity of the surgery or the diagnosis, but the simple fact of knowing that I would be under a surgical procedure…And then there was Eduardo, from the silence of that room, transmitting love and understanding through his care.

My dear Eduardo wanted to have special details with me and I know that he sensed that I would write these words for him, because my daughter couldn't keep the secret, but I really don't want it to be an open secret. I want everyone to know how lucky I was to have you by my side, I want the world to know that I had an Extraordinary Nurse, who gives his heart to his patients, who cares for you like a family member for whom he is very fond, Eduardo makes a difference in his patients’ care and in his professionalism as a nurse.

I met a very particular Eduardo, one who goes beyond his work, he took care of me, but, in addition, he was worried about me as my mother would.

From the silence of that room, I saw how he cared for me with a lot of love. He looked at me with those eyes that conveyed peace, making me feel really special.

Eduardo, you would say or think that this is unnecessary, that you are simply doing your job, but being sick and spending time at the hospital makes you reflect and realize the wonderful work that nurses do.

Thank you for taking the cold, thirst, fear and pain away, for your comforting words and care, of course I couldn't leave without thanking you for everything you did for me and my daughter, thank you especially for making a difference, for your time to be able to pray together in the room, I will always carry that in my heart.

Things happen for a reason, and our paths were meant to meet, maybe not in the best place in the world, but one way or another, it had to happen, and that's for sure. You deserve all the recognition from the hospital because nurses like you are very rare. I will always be grateful to you, thank you Eduardo and may no one never cut off those angel wings you have, because you are an angel, you will always be my angel who was by my side in the procedure.
