Professor Mukherjee has a genuine passion for teaching young nurses. She always shows compassion to her students when they make mistakes and tries her best to teach them as much as she can. Even after her students are no longer in her class, she encourages them to stay in touch because she genuinely cares for them. I had her as a professor for my Fundamental Skills Lab and she was so encouraging. As someone who is brand new to healthcare, I was very nervous, but Professor Mukherjee was always patient and reassuring. She made sure to compliment my strengths as well as provide constructive criticism when needed. She was also very open to sharing her real-life nursing experiences with us and that gave me a lot of insight as to what to expect in the future. I always felt like I could talk to her about anything. She also bought us a ton of pizza on the last day of class! Best professor ever!
