We had a patient proceed with organ donation. The mother of the patient was understandably having a very hard time coping. This nurse came to the room on her lunch break to pay her respects, and the family wanted to join her in prayer. She led me and the family in prayer and gave kind words and encouragement to the mother of this patient. The whole demeanor of the room was uplifted. She was what this family needed at that exact time. I cannot speak highly enough about the support she went out of her way to give to that family. She is such a blessing to have here.
