One day I walked into the ER with my 5 year old son who had a bleeding forehead, who was very scared with all the blood. I myself was very scared and panicked, making it hard to keep my son relaxed. But nurse Gabby Chavez took a handle of the situation and with her soft gentle touch and soothing words she was able to not just calm my baby but she made sure I was calm and made me believe that everything was going to be ok. Before we even left my son was laughing with nurse Gabby.. As a mother this is like an Angel sent from heaven in these tough situations.. Not only did she care about her patient but their parent as well.. Not many nurses give this kind of care and compassion to both patient and parent… Thank you Nurse Gabby for all you do with your patients. God bless you and your career.
