In the early hours at 5 am, the ER team showcased remarkable teamwork during a code assist in the parking lot. Nurse Bethany's call triggered a rapid response from frontline heroes: ERAs Pat and Hassan, Nurse Kristian, and Security Officer Edward and Matthew. The patient, facing distress with shortness of breath, required urgent attention due to his complex medical history.

Facing challenges with equipment, the team ingeniously borrowed a Galvo lift and swiftly maneuvered it to the parking lot. With the patient's condition deteriorating, the team, along with the patient's efforts, successfully transferred him onto a gurney. However, the urgency escalated as he stopped breathing enroute to the ER, prompting a CODE TEAM response.

The CODE TEAM, led by Dr. Lee, orchestrated a synchronized effort. Pat and Hassan took charge of compressions and airway management, while Jasmin, Kristian, Sabrina, Genesis, and Maurice played vital roles in resuscitation and medication administration. Dr. Ullrich and Dr. Choi contributed to airway management and intubation, respectively, as Respiratory Team members Eliseo and Thi ensured continuous support.

Amidst the medical chaos, other team members like Susan, Gabby, and Kathleen played essential roles, and Lectrice provided emotional support to the patient's distraught wife. Through two rounds of CPR and meticulous teamwork, the CODE TEAM achieved Return Of Spontaneous Circulation, stabilizing Mr. S's vitals, though he remained in critical condition.

Kristian, transitioning into the role of primary nurse, reported the situation to Keith while awaiting an ICU bed. This collective effort in the face of adversity exemplifies the dedication and skill of these healthcare professionals, highlighting their commitment to saving lives.
