We (Mom and I) met Veronicah when Mom was transported to SSM Main Hospital from SSM Health in Mustang. Veronicah was working with P that night in Mom's room. P was so kind, gentle, and caring to Mom. Veronicah was so different from the very start. She knew we were both exhausted from spending over 10 hours at SSM Health ER in Mustang. She immediately asked if I needed water or anything. Veronicah stood out because I have had many interactions with Nurses at SSM Health; she apologized from the start about the over 10-hour wait at Mustang to get Mom (Age 91) moved to SSM Main Hospital.

Veronicah has the most angelic personality; her care is thoughtful, kind, and not fake at all. She made sure Mom was as comfortable as she could be. The interaction Veronicah had with P was just as kind and respectful. Her nursing abilities are knowledge, kindness, total care for the patient and family member, ability to explain to patient and family member what is going on in terms we can understand, and just an overall calming presence about her. We were told Veronicah moves around to different departments and asked her if we could keep her as our night nurse every night. Veronicah is at the top of your Nursing employment. I hope SSM Health will see how special Veronicah is and guide her career with SSM Health. Thanks for employing Veronicah, and I feel happy for any patient or family member in the future that she gets to help.
