She encouraged the nurse to sit down, but the nurse refused. Emely advocated and sought help from another nurse, and ultimately, they checked the nurse's blood sugar. The result was low; a rescue alert was initiated, and the nurse was urgently brought to the emergency department for a medical screening. It was due to Emely's attention to detail, critical thinking, and persistence that the nurse did not suffer a traumatic event and was able to get to the emergency room for quick and appropriate care.
