Trisha is my mom! Watching the hard work she put in to become a nurse while having three kids, homeschooling them all, and working full-time to support her family is just the tip of the iceberg. The way she treats her patients is really why I'm nominating her; she truly cares about each patient and their individual needs. Being a nurse is not just a job for her. She is constantly researching in her off time to better her care and the needs of her patients. She is also always ready to help any and everyone when she is not at work. She is truly selfless and a perfect example of what any nurse should strive to be.
