In the month of April, May, and June of this year my husband was a patient in the hospital. In June, he was fortunate to be under the care of nurse Jennifer Dedrick for the second time. Due to his failing health, he was having a very difficult time. Jennifer was the most patient, caring, compassionate nurse, never wavering from the level of care she provided. Jennifer also went up and beyond to show compassion to me during this difficult time. My husband passed under PIH Hospice Care, but when I am volunteering and see Jennifer, she still demonstrates so much care and compassion. Jennifer truly puts the patient first when they are in her care.
