Carolyn is a wonderful person and nurse. She is kind, empathetic, and sweet-natured. She has a gentle demeanor but is also firm when she needs to be. For example, I had to drink the bowel prep liquid before my surgery, and it was so hard for me. I felt I couldn't do it, but Carolyn was able to coach me through the entire process. She knew exactly what to say and do. She was so encouraging, and her approach enabled me to be successful in finishing the liquid so that I could have my surgery as scheduled. I would not have been able to do it without her. I will always be grateful she was my nurse. In addition, Carolyn has been my nurse several other times and I always feel a little better when she is with me. She just has a way about her that makes me feel at ease and relaxed. She feels like a friend, but she also works very hard to make sure I am doing okay. All the nurses and CNAs at Good Samaritan have been excellent, but Carolyn will always stand out in my mind as that extra special person who made my stay here better. Thank you, Carolyn!
