She truly cares and listens to the needs of not only the patient but the family as well.
My mom has been in the hospital for 19 days. This nurse was here for her first six days and we had such a special bond with her. We were sad to see her leave because she was so caring and took such good care of mom, my sister and me. We did not think we would see her again, but eight days and two surgeries later, she was back. While she was gone she checked in with us for updates. When she returned, she brought mom a cozy fleece holiday blanket to use. It lifted all of our spirits. She truly cares and listens to the needs of not only the patient but the family as well. She listened to us talking about the tissues at the hospital and how mom missed her soft Puffs tissues. The very next day she came in with a box of Puffs. This nurse will be leaving today after her second six-day stretch here with us. We will never forget her as mom prepares to die. We could have not asked for a better nurse.
