She always made sure I had everything I needed. Her soft voice would seem to calm me down if I was in pain or unsure of my surroundings.
When Analily Juncosa came into the room, it would light up with her smile. She never complained and she made me feel safe. She kept me informed about my plan of care. She always made sure I had everything I needed. Her soft voice would seem to calm me down if I was in pain or unsure of my surroundings. She always knew what to say. She worked many hours, but never complained. She would help me to understand my meds and anything else I wasn’t sure of. When she got ready to leave, she would always say goodnight or goodbye. I think even as a travel nurse, she will go far. She is a very compassionate young lady. I was deeply impressed with her.

Just so you know, mom wrote from her heart about Analily, which never happens. Mom is brass, opinionated, and likes to be in charge. So for her to give in her A-type personality is huge. I never experienced Analily myself or had seen them interact together, but mom was well informed about her care plan in going home. I was, however, her receiving nurse and for every education I gave, she rebutted with “Analily said…” and “yes, Analily showed me like this!” So kudos to Analily, she was awesome and deserves a DAISY Award.

I was recently diagnosed with a rare liver cancer. I was scared, confused, and thought I would die. Analily thought of my welfare and put me at ease. She made it feel like we were old friends and was very compassionate. She was concerned about me and took the time to really listen to my mental state of mind. We talked about family and dogs. She took time to really listen and care. Analily turned me around from a scared patient so tense into a person that laughed and felt loved and important. She wasn’t only a nurse, but a friend. She has a heart of gold. It felt nice to laugh and not feel rushed so that she could get to the next patient. She would stop by to say goodnight when she went off of her shift. Very wonderful human being who helped a broken-down old lady and gave her hope for a better tomorrow.
