While this sweet angel was not one of my personal caretakers, Christiana Anisi always smiled and greeted me on my supervised evening walks. Even through her mask, I could feel the big smile and kindness in her voice. I looked forward to small talks with her during my restless nights. This woman radiates warmth and compassion. She told me that she is familiar with how serious thyroid conditions like mine can be. Despite my fear with this diagnosis, she was able to reassure me that I can go back to a normal life. She gave me hope and faith in my recovery progress. While also emphasizing how important it is that I stick to the treatment plan that my doctors and nurses set up. She really got me going in the right direction as far as how to responsibly move forward. Her smile made me smile and I would like to recognize how far her simple gestures went in comforting me. Bless her heart! I am honored to have met her and know that she is rooting for me. I will never forget her and all she said. This hospital is blessed to have her.
