He is a special person and really knows his stuff and assists in the healing of the sick patients in his care.
When you have to stay in the hospital, there's always uncertainty and apprehension. You're there alone and you're not sure how it's going to go. Recently, I had to have a tumor removed from my mouth and after the surgery, I needed to spend the night. I was so blessed to have Blake Moseley as my nurse. He welcomed me with a warm smile and genuine caring. He spoke with me as an equal. He removed my uneasiness and explained everything he was doing for me and how it would help me. Anytime I needed assistance, he always came into my room upbeat and helpful. I was never made to feel that I was an interruption or a nuisance. As it turned out, I needed a second surgery and spent two days in intensive care. During the overnight hours, my feeding tube became clogged. My nurse and the charge nurse both tried to clear the feeding tube, but with no success. First thing in the morning, Blake returned and said, "I understand that your feeding tube is blocked, don't worry, I have a few things I'd like to try". He used a small syringe and put pressure on it. Sure enough, the blockage moved and my feeding tube was again open. I was so relieved and thankful that I cried. He has such a wonderful attitude and he genuinely cared about me. He is a special person and really knows his stuff and assists in the healing of the sick patients in his care. He is an inspiration to all of the other nurses.
