Our daughter was very recently diagnosed with metastatic neuroblastoma. I don't think I've yet processed this. It has been a terrible nightmarish whirlwind. Our first stay, we met Kylie Thomas. Not only did she take immaculate care of our daughter, but she took care of our family as well. She had words when we did not. She understood our dismay and explained things thoroughly. Oftentimes better than the doctors did. Our daughter is 17 and Kylie has an age-appropriate way of helping her understand what is happening to her body without making her feel helpless or that she can no longer think or make decisions for herself. She was and is a huge advocate for our daughter and genuinely has her best interest in mind. Random hugs for me when she would see me a wreck and in tears. She is a part of our family now. What a tremendous asset she is to the Banner organization. Kylie is the perfect combination of clinical expertise and superb bedside manner. We will never forget the love and care she spoiled us all with.
