My mother in law had a stroke and needed nearly total care and then rehab. Nicole Shields did not ever make her feel bad or like a burden, she sat with her, encouraged her, assisted her on multiple days, she was very attentive to her needs, and was detailed in her assessment. She went to bat for her to get physical therapy and occupational therapy more frequently. She assisted with education, diet, exercise, and alternatives due to her right sided weakness. As a nurse practitioner, I was very impressed with the care she provided and how involved she was in the patients care setting.
