This nurse came into my life in the most difficult time. Erin took care of my son like he was her own. She helped me understand how to be his mom and not a nurse (being an RN myself, it's difficult), and ensured that I held him and wrapped him in my arms as he took his last breath to say goodbye. I will never be able to thank Erin for everything that she did for me, my family, and ultimately my son. Erin, you're truly, truly an amazing woman, nurse, and caregiver. I often think about what you said the day he passed, "I just want him and your family to find peace and not suffer anymore."
