Our father was on in-house hospice for 5 days and Krista Munns was our night nurse. She made a phone call to our mom when it looked like his breathing had changed, and we needed to be there for him. When we got to the hospital an hour later she was sitting down with our mom to comfort her. Not necessarily to talk about technical details but just to be with her until we got there. She got us all through the night with such grace and compassion. She talked us through the medications in a very clear manner that was easy to understand and she did it all with such grace and compassion. She was hugely supportive during a very difficult time and was very comforting through her entire shift. We spent the night and she made sure we were all comfortable with bedding, and snacks. All the nursing staff at the facility have been so wonderfully compassionate.
