Hannah Hudson is such an amazing example of what it means to be a nurse. Hannah frequently works with some of our most difficult patients and spends extra one on one time with them to understand their concerns, worries and what gives them hope. She has an unmatched attention to detail unlike any other nurse I have known. This special skill of Hannah’s has helped her to notice minor but acute changes in a patient's status that have been quite literally lifesaving, she has prevented medication errors and is always advocating for further options for her patients. In her role as a charge nurse, she always takes extra time to look through orders and responsibilities to ensure appropriate assignments. Staff feel supported by Hannah in charge and know they have an excellent resource and champion leader.

Hannah is also a fierce advocate for our new grad nurses and an integral part of their orientation to night shift. She cares about each of our coworkers as a whole person both inside and outside of work. I am so lucky to work with her!
