Coming to the hospital can be a very scary experience and for me, I thought I was going to die. My heart was pounding, and I could not breathe, but Frederica was there for me every step of the way. She even held my hand while the doctors placed an IV in my arm. I was a hard stick and it had to be done with a machine and it was my first time having it done. This nurse was very understanding and patient with me. She also explained every single procedure that was being done to me and kept my family in the loop.

Frederica was one of the nicest nurses I have ever met and she made me feel safe while in a vulnerable situation. Even as the hospital got busy, she checked on me every chance she got to make sure that I was still okay. When it was time for me to get admitted to the hospital, she came with me upstairs to my room and made sure that everything was within reach and that I had everything I needed, as my family was not able to come until later that night. I am very thankful for Frederica - because of her, my visit to the hospital was nothing short of an amazing stay. Her friendly smile and warm hugs will always be remembered.
