Meghan is a shining ray of light. She never once let my dad go without for a minute. His machines never beeped excessively. She called the doctors immediately when needed. She was very strategic in making sure he got as much rest without interruption, as well as making my mom comfortable. She explained her every action and every medication to my dad in terms he could understand. In the few minutes of downtime she had, she would have regular conversations about family and pets, etc., which are things that are comforting to patients who are 72 years old and don’t understand things going on around them in a hospital. She never once had a bad attitude or spoke negatively about her job or her coworkers. She did everything with a smile on her face and happiness in her voice. Our family will always be grateful for her care and compassion while taking care of our loved one. GOD put her in this profession for a reason. I believe that reason is to spread her kindness to the people who are living their worst days and need a little uplifting.
