Suja is a Clinical Coordinator at 5 South. Myself and the staff on 5 South were ecstatic when she joined the team. Not only is she a remarkable nurse, but a first-class leader. I was on the hiring panel interviewing Suja. She was a night shift charge nurse on the 6th floor and part of many committees. During the interview, she exuded excellence and was properly knowledgeable in various aspects regarding the six pillars: shared decision-making, leadership, safety, quality, well-being, and professional development. On the floor, Suja gave quite an impression as she was consistently eager to help out. Whenever the unit has a significant workload, no matter how busy Suja is, she never lets the team down. If I am unsure or have any questions about patient care, I'm confident Suja has the answers I need. When she educates the staff concerning policies and patient safety, she does so with a pleasant and positive outlook. Suja is a commendable, passionate, and Extraordinary Nurse and is well deserving of anything that comes her way. I look up to her as a role model, and I am inspired and motivated to become a nurse just like her.
