From day one and despite the heaviness in our hearts, we felt welcomed to the NICU. Doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and the entire staff were incredibly nice and understanding. One of the first people I met was Jeannie. She was attentive and knowledgeable. Always checking in and informing us on our baby’s progress. On the weekly rounds when I was confused and scared, Jeannie was always there. It is because of people like Jeannie, who are kind and passionate about their work, that parents can stay strong and hopeful. Thank you Jeannie and staff for making our journey less heavy. We will always be grateful.

Jeannie was so kind and gentle with our son. She made us feel welcomed from the day of admission to the day of discharge. Thank you to Jeannie and the entire NICU team for embracing our culture and allowing the ceremony to take place.
