Their cheery disposition and apparent GENUINE love and passion for their job immediately put us all at ease.
We had a very rough start with the delivery of our son, W, followed by our stay in the NICU, filled with ups and downs. One night, when my husband and I were thoroughly broken down, dejected, exhausted, and generally running through the entire gambit of emotions, we were assigned this nurse as our night shift nurse.

To begin, they have a beautiful, positive, and inviting soul. Their cheery disposition and apparent GENUINE love and passion for their job immediately put us all at ease. When this nurse began their shift, they had no idea how long and tedious of a night they would be in for with our grumpy little W. I cannot overstate how hard this nurse worked for and with W, to keep him calm and comfortable. This nurse clearly doesn’t skip leg day at the gym because they bounced, rocked, and swayed for what must have been half the night. They never stopped until W was settled.

They were so attentive and advocated for W every step along the way. They convinced the team to let us try to breastfeed as well as proceeded to help troubleshoot our first real breastfeed. Their experience and clinical expertise were clearly demonstrated right from the get-go. They celebrated wins with us as if W were their own child.

Their positive outlook and attitude were a bright reminder that things could and would get better as long as we continued to support W. Their support and love for their job will truly be one of the brightest memories we have from our NICU stay. They carry themselves with grace and compassion. We cannot thank you enough!
