Laura perfectly exemplifies the BJC Crest values. She is compassionate to both patients and staff and will always take the extra step to make sure all of a patient’s needs are met. She is respectful of patients and advocates for their care. She respects her teammates' strengths and allows us to shine in our duties. She is an excellent nurse and is a resource in our clinic for other nurses, CSRs, providers, and even management. She is our UPC Chair and helps coordinate our MSAPs. Laura cares greatly about safety. She is extremely knowledgeable about BJH policies and helped to discuss sterile instrument procedures during our skills day demonstrations. Laura, above all, is a teammate I am proud to have. She is willing to help with any duty that betters the care our clinic provides. She often steps in to help even when it is not her main responsibility. Laura wears many hats in our clinic, and her hard work mentality is one we should all strive for.
