Every time I have interacted with Majesty she is always positive and smiling. Majesty is willing to help and is always a team player. Multiple times, I have witnessed nurses on the unit ask if she could help by giving a med or rechecking a patient's temperature, and without hesitation, Majesty is willing to help and provide the best care to our
patients.

Recently, Majesty went even further above and beyond for one of our long-term patients who has been in our hospital off and on for many months. The patient is no longer in Majesty's unit, but she still makes time to stop by and check on the patient and his family. She also decided to write a book for this patient. She designed, illustrated, and wrote a story about this patient for him and his family to encourage them during his difficult hospital stay! The patient is primarily Spanish-speaking, so she made 2 versions of her book, one in English and one in Spanish, and then placed them both inside a binder to keep them together for the family. At the end of the book, she left space for all the nurses, MDs, PCTS, and anyone else who helped care for this patient to sign for the family to have and keep with them.

Not only was this book meaningful for the family but also for the care team who has been involved in the care of this patient for quite some time. The gesture brought tears to many nurses' eyes for the thoughtfulness and creativity to help this family during a difficult time.
