This year's DAISY Nurse Educator Award recipient is Linda Wise. Linda was nominated by several of her students for this honor. Her students describe her as an extremely calming presence who reminds them through her introductory post that they are all embarking on the journey together and they will make it together. She encourages all her students to have hope, strength, and faith and to adopt good time management skills, but, above all, she encourages them to try not to stress, which she recognizes can sometimes be easier said than done. Linda makes her teaching meaningful to each learner and strives to connect with them personally.
