Thank you, Sydney Kilpatrick, so much for your kindness and your dedication to helping my daughter through the hardest time of her life. Out of all the nurses, you stood out the most. The first day, my daughter wanted her leg gone, but you made her change the negative into a positive with your smile, your funny sense of humor, and, most importantly, the way you remained patient. When you left for one day, my daughter kept saying I wish Sydney came back, when asked why, my daughter's response, she just knew how to care for me. Sydney, you encouraged her, made her laugh, checked on my mental health, and made this stay feel like you were part of our family. Thank you! You told my daughter everything would be okay. This meant the world to her, staking her pillows over and over to find what made her comfortable. Over our hospital stay, you became our favorite nurse. I can't believe you've only been a nurse for two years. Only two years, and you have the best bedside care ever. When you care - the way you care for patients clearly says I have been this great nurse for ten years. Continue to shine, continue to smile, continue being Sydney. We love you!
