This is my second child currently on life support in a hospital in another state, far from my other children at home. My first son unfortunately passed away, so experiencing this again is such an unimaginable pain to experience again. I’ve been in a lot of hospitals & have been with a lot of nurses, but Nikkola truly treated us like family. She was kind to us in a way that she really didn’t have to be. She helped us forget about what was going on around us by talking to & truly engaging with us. In a truly dark and devastating time, she was a light of kindness that we really needed. On top of the phenomenal care that she gave to our daughter. I’ve truly never experienced anything like that from any other nurse/hospital.
