came in every shift with a smile on her face and continued to check on us, bring us coffee, and whatever we needed.
My 85-year-old mother was hospitalized with a massive stroke. We were told that it was almost catastrophic. She was in the ICU and intubated for several weeks. These were very scary times for the family. Amy Finnegan came in every shift with a smile on her face and continued to check on us, bring us coffee, and whatever we needed. We were visiting New Orleans and had come here to try beignets for the first time. We told her that when we got here she was every bit of Southern hospitality and compassion. When my mother was extubated and able to swallow, the first thing she asked for was a cup of coffee. Amy made that happen. Later in the evening, Amy ordered beignets and cafe au lait from Uber Eats and made our day. This was going above and beyond. We all cried together. Not only did she remember that we were visiting for this reason, but she also made it happen. We plan on visiting again just because of her. She showed us what it means to be a New Orleanian and we are forever grateful. God bless you, Amy!
