She is an incredibly humble RN who does not bring much attention to herself. She wears many hats at the Sacramento call center and serves as a Safety Captain and charge Relief RN and allows RNs to Double Jack with her. She shares her best nursing practices and is an incredible resource for her peers. She rarely declines requests, whether it is doing emergent callbacks or assisting when needed to huddle new workflow information. Although many of the RN Managers thank her countlessly and acknowledge her support for this time, I feel I must share a special recognition Pan was recently bestowed. Pan was honored at a Sacramento Kings game as part of the care team for a member and King's fan. Pan was one the 1st representatives our members spoke to when they called the Sacramento Call center. During her assessment, she knew this member needed immediate help. Through Pan's concern and compassion, she convinced our reluctant member to be evaluated in the ER and call 911 so that she could receive immediate care. Upon arrival to the ER, our member needed emergent cardiac surgery that ultimately saved her life. This story doesn’t surprise me as she takes many calls a month, however, this one made a significant impact on our member who is alive today and wanted to share their extraordinary care experience with all the fans at the Sacramento King's game. I, too, would like to thank Pan for all she does every day, especially in saving lives one call at a time.
