Amanda was my nurse. She was kind, relatable, and supportive. I had an accident with my baby and called her; she was at my door within a second. She arrived calm and soothing while also addressing the baby and the calls that needed to be made. All while trying to calm me and provide reassurance and huge support. She took her time after it all calmed down to make sure I was ok. Throughout the remainder of her shift, she made sure to take extra steps to ensure I was in a good space and addressed Dad's concern when he arrived. I am extremely grateful for how she handled the terrifying event. She was a huge staple to me, not beating myself up with guilt.
