Seema shows compassion not only for our patients but also for our teammates.
Seema started her career with DaVita as a PCT. She was very shy and quiet. She then went on to become an LVN. While working as an LVN, Seema pursued her BSN. Once she completed her nursing degree, Seema worked on the treatment floor as an ICHD RN. She did all this while working in the same facility (Natomas). Seema recently took on the role at Natomas as the Clinical Coordinator. Seema has a way with the team to deliver all education to understand the "why" behind what we do.
When we have difficult patients, Seema takes the lead by coming out and sitting with our patients. She holds their hand and, even at times, will still place their needles. She has gotten our patients who would frequently miss treatments to improve. She is on top of all of our adequacy. When patients are not meeting goal, she is sitting at chairside to educate them on the importance of fulfilling their treatments.
Seema shows compassion not only for our patients but also for our teammates. Recently, Seema created an omelet station as a surprise for the team. She came in and made breakfast omelets for the nurses and techs. She takes the time to put in the small details that go a long way. When we held a hot cocoa bar, Seema went above and beyond. Seema decorated the breakroom with cute containers and pretty tablecloths to bring in the holiday spirit. She is loved and appreciated by all of our teammates and two patients. If you could be in the presence of Seema, you too would be able to see her compassion shine onto you.
