My 15 month old son was at the ED for RSV. Jamie took excellent care of him. She brought him a toy to make him happy, got down to his level, and tried speaking to him calmly to make him comfortable. His IV was very positional and he had an order for fluids, if he bent or moved his arm - the IV wouldn’t work. She sat down with him and held his IV in the correct spot to make sure he got all his fluids, which took over 20 minutes, and I know she was crazy busy. She took the time to get his IV to work instead of having to poke him multiple times. She advocated for my son with the Dr in this scary time for us. She took the best care of him from the time he was her patient up to admission. She is a hard-working and intelligent critical thinker. We were so thankful for her.
