Kelsie received 13 nominations for a DAISY Award from both patients and staff who work alongside her. We were unable to share all 13 stories, but summarized comments from each in the combined nomination below:

Multiple Co-workers expressed their gratitude for Kelsie.
• She always has a smile on her face.
• She is so kind to her patients, and I have never had a single bad experience with her or seen any of her patients complain about her.
• She's such a hard worker!
• Kelsie is very upbeat and positive.
• The OB floor gets super busy, and even though it seems Kelsie should be exhausted, she always keeps a smile on her face and stays positive.
• Kelsie is not only caring toward her patients but her coworkers. She takes pride in caring for everyone.
• We need more nurses like Kelsie who give their all to each and every patient every time.

• With Kelsie by my side, I felt comforted in unknown territory.
• Kelsie topped all the others - she was great in every way.
• Kelsie went out of her way to help me breastfeed, change diapers, and give advice when asked. She even made it so I could sleep a little!
• Kelsie is kind and not judgmental. She let us know when she didn't know the answer and told us she would find out.
• I appreciated that Kelsie was intentional about using "non-nursing" vocabulary to help us understand and translate what was going on.
• Kelsie was just really refreshing.
• Kelsie always listened to my concerns and put me at ease at a time in my life when I felt vulnerable and afraid. She made me feel like I had family there with me even though I didn't. She even came to see me on her day off to check on me and my baby! Kelsie not only took care of me physically but also emotionally and mentally.
• Kelsie was by far the best nurse we ever had! She is polite, caring, kind, smiley, outgoing, hard-working, and just overall an amazing nurse!
