How is Jennifer Gates an extraordinary nurse?
Jen has three amazing qualities which made our family feel blessed to have her as our daughter’s nurse.

First, she was extremely attentive to our daughter’s care. Fast response to alarms, comforting words as she kept fighting the sedatives, and making sure her meds were adjusted as needed or taken care of before they ran out.

Second, she is extremely patient. She took the time to explain everything that was going on and answered every question we had with respect and kindness. She not only calmed us down but also validated what we were feeling. Her knowledge and experience were shared with incredible compassion.

Third, she is smart and sharp. She would pop in when other medical staff came in so that they could discuss my daughter’s state. She added to the details discussed and was on top of her current condition and what may be needed in the days to come. I know she was busy and had other patients, but her personal care for my daughter was impressive. She helped alleviate our fears, and we knew our daughter was in good hands when we left.

Jen is definitely one of the best nurses I have ever encountered. I grew up in the hospital system, so I’ve known hundreds of nurses. She is absolutely amazing!
