Tammy Rowe has been my nurse for the last five or six years, and during this time she never ceases to question me concerning my health and offer ways of improving my health. she calls me at home to monitor my blood pressure, which my blood pressure has been running high for the last 2 years. She offered Waze so I could improve my blood pressure during a time when my potassium levels were extremely high. She would always remind me of not being mindful of high-potassium foods that she knows I really like, such as sweet pot potatoes, which is my absolute weakness. Whenever I need something for referrals, she gets right back to me within 24 hours. She follows up to make sure that things have happened and occurred to me, and I really appreciate it. It seems like she cares about my health as much as I do, or even more. When I lost my son, she made sure she got with the doctor to offer grief counseling at the time; it was a little bit too soon, so almost a year later, I was able to attend grief counseling. She’s always been in my corner and very positive towards me, even when I’m upset and being difficult. She’s always even-tempered and kind. She’s a very compassionate nurse, and she really cares.
