Haley Meade was so helpful to our family as she was my son's nurse. My son came in with meningitis, and Haley took the time to answer all of our questions. She calmed our fears in regard to what we were looking at with him medically on a daily basis. She, more importantly, made him feel comfort while getting to know him and related to him with some life issues that he had been dealing with through experiences she had with some of her own family members. That kind of attention goes beyond her daily nurse duties and we can't thank her enough for extending herself in a way that my son could relate. She not only kept his medical needs a priority but she took moments to let him and us know he mattered and was going to get the attention needed while under her care. Haley also had no problems being firm with whatever my son was or was not doing that would be problematic to his recovery, and again that may have included some extra patience as my 28-year-old son can still be somewhat stubborn and relentless. We were sad to think he would not be under her care for the entire duration of his stay here. Haley is a bright, patient, sensible, caring, and strong individual. We hope she gets the recognition as a nurse that she deserves!
