Bravo Mike, you're the absolute best!  I'm writing this thank you story for my husband, who shared his enthusiastic impression with me but does not speak or write English.  He loved Mike's care and Mike so much that he has missed him dearly after discharge and mentions him daily.  

Words my husband has used to characterize Mike are "competent", "kind", "empathetic" and "respectful".  He thinks so particularly in comparison to various times in the past where others have called him "buddy“, an American expression that does not sound dignified to an 89 year old European male.  

When I visited and interacted with Mike, I could see what my husband meant.  Mike truly is the best!
