Karla is a nurse who exemplifies the nursing values of extraordinary compassion, courage, and integrity. Just this month, I received a beautiful letter from one of her patients who reported, “Karla educated me about ways to expedite my healing. She offered the best kind of care and saw me through my final healing.”

A patient who was on service with a developmental disability required extra patience, a reiteration of education, phone calls in between visits, and lots of TLC overall. He called the office regularly to report all the education Karla provided and to tell me she was “my angel!” Karla consistently provided the care and attention this patient needed. I know he was well served by Karla and she was the right nurse to manage all his needs compassionately. Karla is the nurse I can call on in a pinch who will say, "Yes." I know she will provide excellent care every time.
