At the outset of my acknowledgment, I must say that all of the nurses of DCH Hospital are highly professional and dedicated. Identifying the best nurse is really daunting among such outstanding folks. However, it is my pleasure to nominate Brandi Kilgore for the DAISY Award. There are some reasons behind this, but I am going to address notable ones that were amusing.

Empathy is one of the vital factors in nursing. Her compassionate behavior let us understand that we, as outsiders, are not alone! Her ways of behavior, speech, and actions were convincing, resulting in my wife’s immense confidence as if she were surrounded by family members. Her patient-centered approach lessened my wife’s mental pressure, which was very stimulating for her to relax.

Her empathy was embedded in optimism, attention, emotional guidance, communication with lucidity in expression, etc. Even my toddler boy was very cherished by her affectionate approach. Overall, she was able to give me a good perception of nursing in the USA.
