She was so kind and gentle. Every time my daughter was starting to cry from the pain, she would calmly reassure her. She had a fantastic bedside manner.
My daughter came in with her arm in a sling and mud over the left side of her body. She fell playing at school and broke her arm. Ms. Roseveche called her in to triage. With her calming voice, she asked what happened and ensured her that she was going to make sure she had good care. She explained to her that before they could see the doctor, she would have to check her weight and measure her heartbeat. Once that was done, they took us to a room to wait for the doctor. The entire time she explained everything to my daughter step by step. She answered any questions she had and made her feel comfortable. When we found out we were going to be admitted she helped clean off the mud she had on her arm. The other lady who came to wrap her arm didn't look like she was even going to clean her arm before wrapping it. Ms. Rose was the one who stopped her to get cleaning supplies. She was super gentle and continued to talk to my daughter to calm her down. She kept telling her it would be ok as she gently scrubbed the dry mud off. Once she was done, she helped the other nurse gently wrap her arm. And reassured my daughter that the doctors were going to fix her right up. She was so kind and gentle. Every time my daughter was starting to cry from the pain, she would calmly reassure her. She had a fantastic bedside manner. The last place we wanted to be was in the ER, but she made our visit just better. When we were being taken to the floor, I asked the lady for the nurse's name again. I said she is really a great nurse and is so good with my daughter. The response was yes, she is great. She has small kids at home, so she knows how to connect with them. I know it takes more than having kids of your own to have such an amazing impact on kids that you help them feel better on a daily basis.
