It is clear that Danielle's dedication goes beyond mere duty; it’s a heartfelt commitment to making a difference in every patient's life.
Danielle, the nurse, was such a blessing for us today. Right from the moment we called the office, she worked her magic to get E, my 4-year-old daughter, seen the same day instead of making us wait until tomorrow following a fracture in E’s wrist. She didn't just stop there. She made sure we knew what to expect, even warning us about the longer wait time for the x-ray.
When we got to the appointment, Danielle greeted us with a smile and immediately put us at ease. She was amazing with E, chatting away and making her laugh. She even managed to distract her during the small, closed reduction maneuver to put the broken bones back in position, with talk about E's stuffed bunny. And can we talk about the glitter on the cast? That little touch made E's day. Danielle's professionalism shone brightly. She walked us all the way to the x-ray department, making sure we didn't get lost. Her dedication extended to finding a sling that perfectly fit E's small arm, adjusting it multiple times to get it just right, and making sure E was comfortable.
Danielle made sure we knew how to take care of the cast and answered all our questions. Her proactive approach even extended to scheduling E's follow-up appointment, ensuring continuity of care. As a fellow Mission Partner and nurse, I can say Danielle is truly the embodiment of the sister’s mission of serving with the greatest care and love. It is clear that Danielle's dedication goes beyond mere duty; it’s a heartfelt commitment to making a difference in every patient's life. She turned what could have been a tough day into something manageable and even a little fun. Peds Ortho is lucky to have her.
