Joshua Kent has displayed, on multiple occasions, that he goes above and beyond in providing care to patients. This goes so much further than just to patients within his own unit but, throughout the entire hospital. He is seen always assisting patients in the hallway and outside of the facility, and even offers assistance to other departments. There was one particular situation in which a patient fell in the hallway on the main floor. Josh immediately ran over to assist. He assessed and evaluated the patient and situation and obtained assistance from other clinicians around. He was able to place the veteran in a wheelchair and hand off to the emergency department, which also acted immediately to care for the veteran. He once told me, "I'm not a PACU Nurse. I'm a VA Nurse." His level of skill and care makes our hospital safer and better.
