I would like to nominate Maryrose for being such an amazing, supportive ray of sunshine, especially during the preparation before and after my mother’s procedure. Her email and visits before the procedure explaining in detail made us feel more relaxed about the procedure. Her cheerful yet calming personality was exactly what we needed because there were lots of concerns about the risks of the procedure due to my mother being so frail and thin. When Maryrose came, she was like the bright sunshine and fresh air that I (and my mother) desperately needed to think positive. She came, and her presence washed away all those negative energies and thoughts. She gave encouraging words, we joked a little which made us smile and hold onto positive things. She is stronger than people think – even though she may look otherwise. My mother had a successful procedure and Maryrose came to visit afterwards. She came with a little souvenir/note along with the MitraClip ID card. She also gave encouraging words for recovery which I am very grateful for. I would like to thank her for being her. She has left a positive and encouraging footprint in our lives and I will never forget her. Whether it’s a little sentence in an email that shows care and support, little thank you note/souvenir of the procedure, her visits – her positive and cheerful energy is something the world really needs more of. My family and I are lucky and grateful to have met her. She has truly left a lasting impression on our lives. Thank you for being that sunshine and bright light during the worrying and scary time in our lives. I truly hope this message will be forwarded to her. It would mean a lot.
